Dairy Queen

A Lighting Solution Fit for Royalty

  • Location: Orangeville, Ontario
  • Application: Restaurant
  • Facility Size: 2,800 square feet
  • Lights Replaced: 191
  • Projected Total Savings: $84,250
This retrofit featured upgrades to all aspects of the restaurant’s lighting,

including ceiling, kitchen, washroom, menu signage, outdoor signage and the building’s exterior. By replacing nearly 200 lights with energy-efficient LEDs, we’re able to save this Dairy Queen location $15,400 from reduced electricity consumption over the lifespan of the new lighting.

Other projected or
realized savings include:

in purchases of other lights and ballasts due to the superior longevity of LEDs

in maintenance costs that would have been used for replacing old technology lights

in HVAC costs because LEDs produce less heat and require less cooling to compensate

in rebates from Ontario’s SaveOnEnergy program
